Weight Loss God's Way
Veterans, who have sought and received help for PTSD, etc. Need help here!?

My DH has been a veterinarian 20, the first unit to go to conquer the desert, then shield. The last to go home. The man I knew stayed there. He dismissed me and our children. He left his parents die without even trying to see them. He deserted our family completely. It was a Once such a large, loving husband. It left me totally. I had no home, money, nothing, but I still care. I feel her of war. Shortly after he came home, I began to have dreams that are two days the Army officers came to my door and told me the man I lived with the person was not real, but my husband was dead and that person has assumed his role. I guess it was God's way, the spirit, what ever, let me know. I tried to write, email, maps, and he wants to answer. Our daughter saw last Sunday, and said he looked so ill, had lost weight and 20 years. I'm at a loss. The advice will be helpful. I am so afraid that I get a call saying he committed suicide. God help me, I do not know what to do.

I understand your situation completely. First, my ex-husband was in the Navy and when he returned from his last deployment, he was not same man. It has completely changed, and as you can see it has finally reached a divorce. He was angry against the world and very depressed. Also, my son spent a year in Iraq. He came home with PTSD, addicted to methadone, trouble with the law, and marriage and family. All the world has tried to help him, but he would not let us do. Fortunately, the birth of a new daughter brought him around. But, unless your husband needs help there, unfortunately you can not do anything. Looks like he could do drugs, and he attributed to irrational decisions and depression for him. All you can do is go with your life because it will not let you be part of his or help. Be prepared for nothing better as you can. Perhaps, and I hope the day will come when he will need and accept your help. Take care of yourself and your children. In his heart it what he really wants you to do. If you have faith in God, say many prayers for your husband. Good luck to you and your family and I will say prayers to ask God to be with you and watch over you and your family.
